Solid: what comes next
Solid's next chapter is two new collateral markets, opened one on-chain step at a time, and every step is a poll you can read before it executes.

Now: opening USDC.inj and BTC.atom
- Price feeds for both assets on the oracle sources Poll #18 registered.
- Wrapper and custody contracts for each asset, owned by governance from the start.
- Liquidation coverage for the new collateral, in place before the markets open.
- A final poll that opens both markets, with the parameters Poll #17 approved:
- USDC.inj
- Deposit cap 100,000 · max LTV 95 %
- BTC.atom
- Deposit cap 0.6 BTC · max LTV 50 %
Next
- A review of the legacy collateral markets, so every market Solid lists has a live route into and out of Terra.
- Deeper SOLID liquidity next to the new collateral, so positions can be opened and closed without a large price impact.
- USDC.n winding down: withdraw-only until the last position has left.
Exploring
Native versions of SOLID and CAPA. Both are cw20 tokens today, and the IBC routes that connect Terra to other chains carry native tokens, not cw20s. A TokenFactory version would let SOLID and CAPA travel across IBC. This is an idea being explored, not a decision; it would go to a poll like everything else.
How to take part
Every step above is a poll on Solid's governance page. Vote with staked CAPA, or through the ampCAPA DAO if your CAPA is staked with Eris. The execute messages are public before the vote closes, so you can see exactly what a poll will change.
